A new gig and a new website!
Hello weather fans!
I’ve missed you. If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to, and what exciting things are planned for the future, here is a brief rundown.
Upon graduation from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), I launched my television career in 1990 in Florence, Alabama. I then traveled to Kirksville, Missouri, the Quad Cities (Illinois), Washington, D.C., Little Rock, Arkansas, and then on to Chicago. It has truly been an adventure!
Along the way I’ve worn the hat of a television weather anchor, news anchor, entertainment reporter, news producer, and camera operator. I’ve had the opportunity to drive a funny car at 200 mph, try my hand at improvisation on the Second City stage, and perform at the Apollo Theatre. What a rush!
The biggest rush of all is connecting with viewers like you! The weather forecast shapes your day, and delivering the forecast with accuracy and pizzazz is what I’m all about! Get your forecast with zing! Who wants to watch a robot in a boring suit?! We do not want stifled creativity. That is why I’ve decided to branch out and do it my way. This is what you will see when you log on to weathervibe.com.
Sunshine Kisses,
Michelle Leigh
